Lighthouse Trim Painted

The tower, trim, soffits, fascia & summer kitchen were painted in September, 2006 by Gene LaPlante of Great Lakes Protective Coatings. Gene removed the lead paint, primed and painted everything white on the Lighthouse. The painting project was funded by FORI at a cost of $13,500 with help from some generous donations received in response to a letter from our President to the FORI membership. Tim Sweet visited the Light Station on September 30th and took this photo of the finished work:
