Friends of Rock Island State Park (FORI) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of this website to do the same. 2. Response and Removal

  • Review and investigate the reported content

  • Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable)

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was mistakenly removed or disabled due to a false claim, you may file a counter-notification with the following details:

  • Your signature (physical or electronic)
  • Identification of the content that was removed and its original location
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA complaint

We will evaluate the counter-notification and may restore the content if legally appropriate.

4. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, FORI reserves the right to terminate the access of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
