What this site is
symfonikamiasqc.com publishes research-based guides to buying, financing and living in Philippine property, with a particular focus on Quezon City and on readers who are abroad — overseas Filipino workers, members of the diaspora, and foreign buyers and retirees.
We started from a simple observation. Almost every Philippine property website is written by someone selling property, for a reader who already lives in the country. Neither assumption holds for an OFW in Dubai comparing a Contract to Sell against a Pag-IBIG amortisation schedule at midnight. That reader needs different information, and needs it to be accurate.
What this site is not
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorised seller for Taft Property Venture Development Corp or any other developer. We are not a licensed real estate brokerage and we do not sell, broker or negotiate property. "Symfoni Kamias" and "Taft Properties" are trademarks of their respective owners, used here for factual reference only.
We do not accept payment to review a building favourably, and we do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial. Where a guide covers a specific project, we say plainly what our relationship to it is — which is usually none.
How we make money
This site is supported by display advertising. Ads are served by third-party networks and are labelled. Advertisers have no input into what we publish, no advance sight of our guides, and no ability to have criticism removed.
Where we link to a commercial service and earn a commission, we will say so on that page. We would rather lose the commission than have you wonder whether a recommendation was bought.
How we handle accuracy
Philippine loan rates, tax thresholds and fee schedules change, sometimes several times a year. Every guide carries a visible "last updated" date, and figures are attributed to a named source so you can check them yourself. Where we do not know something — a price a developer has not published, for instance — we say so rather than estimating.
