The units
Taft publishes three residential layouts for Symfoni Kamias, all studios:

This is a studio building, and that is a deliberate positioning rather than an oversight. Twenty to twenty-seven square metres is small — comfortable for one person, workable for a couple who plan well, tight for anyone else. The seven-square-metre spread between the smallest and largest layout is proportionally large — Unit E is 35% bigger than Unit F. If the price difference is modest, the larger unit is usually worth it, both to live in and to re-let later.
What comes with the unit
Taft lists a set of unit deliverables that are more thoughtful than the segment norm: lower light switches, lever-type door handles, key card access at the unit door and lift, bidet attachments and motion-activated lighting. The lower switches and lever handles are accessibility features, which is unusual to see specified at this price point and is a genuine mark in the building's favour.
Amenities and building services
The published amenity list covers a swimming pool, fitness gym, multipurpose room, sky gardens and a commercial area at ground level. Building services include back-up power, fire protection systems, 24-hour security, CCTV coverage, high-speed lifts and WiFi connectivity.
Two things to check before you commit, as with any Philippine condominium:
- What association dues actually cost per square metre per month, and what they cover. Amenities are not free; they arrive as a monthly bill for the life of your ownership.
- Whether back-up power covers your unit or only common areas. These are very different propositions during an extended outage, and the marketing rarely distinguishes them.
The location
East Kamias places the building inside Quezon City's institutional core rather than its commercial one. The University of the Philippines Diliman and Ateneo de Manila are both nearby, along with the hospital and medical-school cluster the area is known for. Quezon Memorial Circle is close, and Cubao — the district's main commercial hub — is a short trip east.
That mix produces the building's clearest use case. A studio near the university belt has a reliable tenant pool: students, medical residents, junior faculty, and staff at the surrounding institutions. Demand is seasonal but it does not disappear, and it is not dependent on a single employer.

Symfoni Kamias and Symfoni Kamias Two
Taft has developed a second phase, Symfoni Kamias Two, with its own unit schedule. If you are shopping this project, get the layouts, pricing and turnover schedule for both, and compare carefully — phases of the same development can differ meaningfully on unit mix, view lines, completion timing and price per square metre.
Who it suits, and who it does not
It suits a single professional or student who wants to be near the university belt; an OFW buying a first Philippine property in the ₱3–7 million band with an eye on rental income; and an investor who wants a tenant pool that is not tied to one company or industry.
It does not suit families, anyone working in Makati or BGC who values their evenings, or a buyer who needs a second bedroom now or in a few years' time.
Ask for the DHSUD License to Sell for the specific tower, the current association dues per square metre, the turnover schedule in writing, and a certified true copy of the title.
